All authors who have been accepted are requested

  • to register for the conference BY JUNE 30
  • to prepare presentations based on the guidelines for presentations.

Abstracts submission
Authors are requested to submit abstracts according to the following guidelines. Authors shall also indicate one unit topic for which they would like to have their paper considered.

Abstract length: within 500 words of plain text with no graphics Language: English only

 Notification of abstracts acceptance
The Convenors will evaluate all submitted abstracts. The Secretariat of the Academic Programme of SB05Tokyo
(Academic Secretariat) will send all contact authors a notification of acceptance or rejection by e-mail.
February 1- March 14,
2005
 Submission of full papers
Authors of accepted abstracts shall submit full papers.
Only PDF files can be submitted.
Language: English only
Keywords: up to 8 Keywords
Summary: about 200 words
Number of pages: 4, 6 or 8 pages including tables
File size: up to 1 MB
Authors can modify their abstract body and title during this period.
June 2005
 Notification of presentation method
The Convenors will evaluate all submitted full papers and identify those selected for oral or poster presentations. The Academic Secretariat will notify all contact authors of their assigned presentation method by e-mail.

  • All accepted papers will be included in a Book of Abstracts and the Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM to be distributed at SB05Tokyo. Their abstracts will be posted on the SB05 website for browsing.
  • Inclusion of papers and abstracts is based on the premise that the author will register for the conference. Please note that if the author does not register for the conference in advance, his or her presentation at SB05Tokyo will become ineligible for inclusion in the Book of Abstracts and the Proceedings.   • Please note that the conference organizers will make sure that all PowerPoint data, submitted at the conference site for presentation use, shall be deleted after presentations are over.
